ran 1.5 miles this morning, then the big run on Saturday. I am a little nervous about the predicted heat. Wish I could run faster to beat the heat.

Friends, thanks.
But I am only doing what I have slowly worked up to doing.
This morning 30 minutes walk with Lin, at Rec C. I did 12 minutes with the machine, then lifting at all the machines, about 12. I lift about 70% of what I think I can do 10 reps....
Then I went back and slowly did the waist exercise. I am taking my pain meds and cymbalta. But I sure am getting stronger. I can not run like my friend Orch... I hope my knees let me keep at it.
You guys are just great!

Wow, what a great bunch of posts today.

Good job everyone! cheerleader

I myself cycled around town for 5 miles doing errands, and swam my usual 1,000 yds at the U.

Go TEAM! clap

Walked 2.5 miles in 40 minutes this morning before leaving to catch a plane to Vancouver for three days of meetings. I'll be lucky to get any excercise while I'm down here.
