35 minutes on the cross trainer today

Is a cross trainer like a treadmill?
I have been putting this down as running on the stats - just thought I'd better check!

Todays run. I was running a 5k for the local swim team. My son is on the team. I didn't think a 5k was far enough. I ran 3.4 miles before the race took me just under 29 minutes. Then I ran the 5k (3.1 miles) took 28.04 minutes. The race started and finished in the cemetery.

Hi Team Mates!!! Just stopped by for a giant cheer for the group! WE ARE THE MOST AWESOME FITNESS TEAM ON THE PLANET!!! Woohoo! YEEEEAAAAUUUUHHHHH!!!!
cheerleader 1cup cheerleader 1cup cheerleader 1cup cheerleader 1cup cheerleader 1cup cheerleader

I'm still in South Dakota for 2 more days, and I cannot wait to get back home to my community pool! I actually had a dream that I bought a house directly between the freeway and a community pool ~ and in the dream I though "that's okay, the pool outweighs the freeway".

I got in a short 30 minute walk with one of my sisters, and about 1 hour of yardwork with my brother-in-law which resulted in an evening of stiffness ~ TOTALLY WORTH IT!

Go TEAM! clap

p.s. All the salads here have mayo, peas, and ham chunks and the fruit salads all have marshmallows and cool whip. WHAT?!?!? I'm serious. eyes

Hello you!
So they like their salads - whether veg or fruit - with chunks in and something creamy crazy
I am intrigued to know what other culinary delights you have been served up, Erica! Do share!
Dreaming of swimming, hey - you've got it bad!
Hope you enjoy the rest of your trip and have safe journey home, hon grin

those salads have me laughing! yeh, not exactly my idea of "salads" either. sounds like it will be good to be home eating healthier fare. though i'm sure being with family is nice.

that dream is funny! laugh2

35 minutes AND non stop candy eating--wrappers a flyin-and buggy a chompin on any chocolate within 20 feet of her! laugh2
Hello everyone!
Sorry I've been missing in action. Halloween madness. Storybook parade on friday. Then ended up in ER with chest pains and 3 wee bugs with me. no Turns out it was only costochondritis. Gave me a good scare. I couldnt sleep. I kept feeling like there was an elephant sitting on my chest. Tramadol and steroids and was cleared. He said he could give me that pill...ack can remember the name but i'd have to stay the night. no tanx! eyes Ekg was good this time thankfully. The last couple have been abnormal.

Saturday and sunday I rested. I only went out for the kids Halloween trick or treating. THAT in itself was some cardio! 2 hrs of hoofing around at the mall and donaldson street that goes all out for haunted houses and trick or treats! clap

Today i felt rested enough to venture out! Took it very slow though and skipped krav. GG isnt feeling well...sinuses are kickin us left and right. So she's hoping to join krav as an official member by the end of the week. cheerleader

Hope everyone had a happy Halloween! rainbow
