I went to the garage and grabbed a snow shovel
I walked to the neighbors, they went south.....
the snow and blow across their sidewalk again,
I shoveled against my grass, then got on the 4 wheeler and did part of three walks.
scooped the liquid snow out of the garage, swept and came in.

I can put on my own shoes, I can still lift a big shovel full of snow, I enjoy winter when dressed for it!!!!

Another day with blessings.

I like the winter also. That was a good workout shoveling snow. We have not had hardly any snow this winter. It has been great weather for running.

Finally well enough to go for a walk again! It's been almost a month of fighting off this nasty virus/infection.

Anyway - couldn't walk quite as far as normal yet but went 2 miles in 35 minutes.

finally snow, yesterday, friday 13th.......but the city forgot how to plow in the middle of the day.......had to be out, driving from chiro to work......highway littered with accidents.......my normal exit blocked by police.......my 25 minute drive turned into an hour and 10 minutes........even going ~20-30 mph, "slip sliding away", like a slalom course......and that was with snow tires, hate to think if i didn't have snow tires, i probably would have been one of those vehicles turned the wrong way on the highway............but made it safe and sound

yesterday: walked 0.5 miles (10 min) + 0.25 miles (5 minutes) + 0.25 miles (5 minutes) + 0.5 miles (10 min) = 1.5 miles (30 min).

today: walked 1 mile in 20 min

Hi Team smile Yesterday I swam 1/2 mile and walked a bit. The day before I walked 1 mile. I haven't been quite with it these last few days. Tomorrow will be a year since my daughter left us, so I'm having wild roller coaster emotions. If any of you know and love someone with mental illness, please check out the NAMI site for support. And if anyone wants to know about my girl, you can go to the facebook page her friends made for her. Every day at least two posts regarding mental health help and recovery are put there for people who might be searching for a healthy way out of their suffering. Thank you all for continuing to post your stats during this year. It has helped me more than you could possibly imagine.

brrr! its a cold 15 degrees outside. definitely colder than yesterday. despite the thick socks and thinsulate boots, gloves inside mittens, and scarf wrapped around my mouth and nose, after a mile, my toes, fingers and nose were starting to feel the effects of the cold.

so a short walk: 20 minutes, 1 mile

but it was a beautiful, perfectly calm (no wind), sunny day with the sun glistening on the snow.
