3000 metres in the pool today. 1hour 25 minutes give or take.

Erica I have a confession to make... Going for a walk here in Gran Canaria is a bit problematic for me. These mountains are a bit treacherous and to be honest I don´t like the heights that you have to go about on the paths sometimes... I´m going to stick to swimming, cycling etc.. and occasionally go for easy walks that don´t involve big drops. I´m a bit of a scaredy cat. I enjoy walking for a few hours but heights make me feel funny.

out for a walk today. hubby pushed me out the door, good to have someone to kick our butts some days. i've been so busy with christmas stuff, been using it as an excuse to not go for my walks, some days.

can't believe its a few days before christmas and in the low 50s. what a nice afternoon for a walk. sun setting. a brief rain shower as the sun was setting and thus a faint rainbow in front of us. tried to take a photo, but too faint. the setting sun made the trees and brush glow golden, but that too didn't translate very well to film.

at one point the sky was really spectacular: one half was blue with blue-grey storm clouds and the other half was orange sherbet colored due to the rain cloud coming over us. that too did not translate to film very well.

the beavers have also been doing a number on the trees along what used to be a creek and now is becoming a small pond. interesting to watch it unfold.

walked, 2 miles, 45 minutes

Yesterday - walked 2 miles in 30 minutes.

Today - walked the beach and trails with my granddaughter for one hour - not sure how far we went because our pace was slower than I usually go. Glorious sunshine and blue skies although there is a light skim of ice on our pond.

Hi Team heart

Today, after 4 days of doing NOTHING - ON PURPOSE - I decided I'd better swim a bit. I swam 10 laps... so, 550 yds, and then hung out in the hot tub w/ my hubby.

Go TEAM! clap

I miss the Pacific NW this winter. I'm so glad you got to have some fun time with your granddaughter. yes

Too sick to excercise today or yestday. Went down with a cold on the first day of my vacation (Tuesday) and just slowly got worse! Might have to skip my methotrexate dose this week if I don't see an improvement soon.
