good work! cheerleader

ok, me:

friday: got home just as it was getting dark, so walked the little cul de sac neighborhood which is nicely lit. it's only about a half mile loops, so walked around it 4 times, for 2 miles in about 35 minutes.

saturday: perfect weather. sunny and mid to high 50s. so walked the 3 mile loop that goes up to and along the erie canal with hubby. 1 hour 15 minutes. collecting all those leaves slowed me down a bit. hubby says taking a walk with me is like walking with a little kid, stopping to observe and collect everything. i see this as a positive!

sunday: even perfecter weather! sunny and almost 70. so walked the 3 mile erie canal loop with hubby again. 1 hour 5 minutes. no leaf collecting, though did stop to investigate the flora, especially all the varieties of viburnums with their wonderfully colored berries. so pretty.

I take 10-20mg of cyclobenzaprine/flexeril every night before bed. It helps me sleep and keeps the spasms away during the day. But yeah, I would never try to take it in the day time. It would be kind of funny.....to everyone else watching me!! lol

Todays run: 3.51 miles, time: 33 minutes 46 seconds.
Today I tried to get some speed back. First I ran 2 miles, then walked a 1/10 of a mile, then ran a half a mile as fast as I could. then walked about 1/10 of a mile and ran another 1/2 mile as fast as I could. Then jogged up the hill back to the gym.

Thanks Donette, I tried taking it last night and it worked great. It felt weird to take a muscle relaxer when I was already relaxed, but I slept well and my back hasn't been crampy yet today. It's already 2pm Pacific time. hugss

Hello Team Mates!!! cheerleader

Still no date on my sis's cancer surgery. It's hurry up and wait right now. All I know is that I hope the YMCA in Sioux Falls, SD has a nice pool.

today:

swimming ~ 1,350 yds / 55 minutes
walking ~ 1.5 miles / 45 minutes
(I am just not near as fast on my feet as I used to be!)

Hope ya'll have a rocking day/night tomorrow depending upon in which country you're parked!

clap Go TEAM!
