to all the walkers, runners, bikers, swimmers, and Krav CBers:

good to see you all at your thing.

no walking the last few days, but today walked around stores and shops for several hours, running a number of errands, so that's better than sitting in my office.

one of my errands was to go to the shoe store that carries all the better brands. while there, tried the vibrum fivefinger shoes:

http://www.vibramfivefingers.com/products/products_footwear.cfm

they were the only shoes that felt "natural" and right, except for the toe thing, that felt very odd. and they do look very crazy. anyway, didn't buy anything, but something to think about. smile

That is one thing I don't try to save money on is shoes. I replace mine often. When I ran the half marathon a month ago I talked to a couple people that were running in Vibram's one lady said she would get a back ache when she ran until she started running in Vibram's. She had been using them about a year.

I wonder - do you have to go without socks? Or do the shoes need special socks? Hmmmm...

I ate too much sugar today. no Why you ask? Because I woke up at 5am ~ not used to the 4.5mg LDN yet, and ate a good breakfast. Then took off around 9 am for the next town over to my proctor, for a midterm (which I aced yes ), and got really hungry around 2 pm. So... M&M's for lunch, followed by actual lunch, and cookies for dinner. What? confused2

Oh well, before I left the house I managed

tai chi ~ 30 minutes

and of course I stopped on the way home to

swim ~ 1,075 yds / 40 minutes

Now my husband and I have been studying all afternoon and might walk down to the water. A poor woman drove her car off the bluff into the bay yesterday and died, so it's a little bit sad walking down there. frown

Go TEAM! clap

Wednesday: walk 4 miles (80 minutes)
Thursday: walk 4 miles (80 minutes)
Friday: bike 16 miles (60 minutes)

I started the telecommute thing today. I worked my typical day, went for a noon time bike ride and felt like I had a vacation day. Too bad this is only one day a week. What a great day!
