may i ask how long it took for the mobic's pain relief to kick in. i've taken it 4 days now, today will be day 5.......still waiting. feet worse than ever. the rest of my joints have no idea i'm on a nsaid either.......still waiting. did it take a few weeks to build to a steady state?

and sweetie, so sorry, that sounds terribly scary and horribly awful! thank goodness you pulled through it ok. heart

i love fries! LOL!

glad the weather's nice there too! rainbow

sorry about the hands. heart hate when the hands act up, that was me for the first 4 or so years, could hardly handle any paperwork or books, a challenge for someone who teaches. left hand was worse than the right, just turning pages aggravated the tendonitis in the thumbs. had the students stapling the upper right hand corner of papers. the students laughed at that, but thought it mighty clever that i learned how to adapt with such simple little tricks. still, they were pretty bad. oddly enough the zanaflex helped them settle down. maybe the tight muscles could no longer "tug" on the tendons? of course just because the spondy monster left my hands doesn't mean he didn't take up residence elsewhere, but it is nice to have my hands back most days. now if the hands could teach the feet a lesson or two...........

anyway, here's to good walks in nice weather; with hubby and pets even better! roll

Mobic took about 8 hours to kick in for me. It was literally a cool flash that started in my knees and spread through the rest of my joints. It was divine smile

thanks erica,

i've been trying to pay attention to how i feel throughout the day, throughout the week. i know the side effects of sleepiness, mental fog, dry mouth, wash over me slowly, come to a head, then slowly dissipate, will see if i notice anything regarding pain relief similarly, but probably have to wait another week or so for that to happen if it goes like i've been reading, we'll see.

just so very odd how each nsaid is so very different, both in their effectiveness and side effects.

thanks again, so nice to have all this experience of others to help me along.

Ran 2.25 miles this morning. Forgot to look at the time on my GPS, but I think it was about 20 minutes.

I love fries also, but I gave them up for my half hearted attempt at the NSD. I do sneak a fry once in a while. I really like the In-N-Out fries.
