If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

mobic is giving me low level edema Be careful! That's how my allergy to NSAIDS started. Low level edema turned into full on anaphylaxis, complete with severe facial swelling and near impossibility breathing... heart distress. Grrr... (I have to say it) Go TEAM!

thanks for the warning erica, i certainly don't want to not be able to use my flector patch or KIP gel.
interesting. i was reading that only like 5% (or was it even less) of people have edema to nsaids. just the lucky ones i guess. was on vioxx and had edema for 3 years before i put it together based on comments from the GP. 3 years and none of my doctors could put it all together why i was getting so so awfully bad.
hope it doesn't develop past the edema into what you had go wrong!
thanks for the heads up!

haven't been calculating the time or distance but did a lot of walking around campus today. all between various buildings. walked to class and back. a seminar and back. tea with a friend/colleague and back. to the computer store on campus for a video connector, still can't use my computer in the classroom, and its only a month into school! out to the distance parking lot to pull my car up near the building. to the new "global village" on campus for a chicken taco (very fresh and good) and back. think it was 2-3 miles total. things are so spread out here. though overcast, nice temperature, so nice day for walking outside. and the sunset, the clouds very cool and dramatic!

De nada. I truly LOVED the pain relief from Mobic, so I think I just let it go too long because I was in denial. It happened really fast though. One day I just felt a little weird, and all of a sudden I couldn't breathe or lie down because the pressure in my head was so awful. Then the lip and eye swelling started like Will Smith in Hitch. Ok, not quite that bad, but it was unsettling. Go TEAM!

Wednesday stats: Krav CB: 60 min. Got my body served back to me with a side order of fries! I didnt go monday or tuesday. Was busy registering my wee ones for Sunday school..or rather CCD on Mondays really. And I'll be going on Monday nights for adult refresher classes. Arthurs off so he'll join me too! Weather has been awesome. Warmer days today and tomorrow but boy was the weather sweet. Bubba should be able to start joining me for walks. I think I'll take Art with me on Mondays or go during the day. Weather is too sweet to pass up! Just wish my thumb and hands were cooperating. They are a royal mess. Hoping to get into rheumy soon. Just had so much kid stuff to get done and kid projects! Goooo team!!
