well, it did catch up with me! last night after chiro and CVS to pick up mobic to try, got home around 8 pm, took a bath, ate dinner, helped hubby make up a grocery list, and at 11 pm sat down to watch john stewart and promptly fell asleep for most of the rest of the night! picked myself up out of the recliner around 4 am, did a little computer stuff, then to bed to finish sleeping. but, zonked out for 5 hours straight in the recliner. i was so tired from the previous day that i even fell asleep in the chiro office while laying there while he left me with the muscle stim (upper back), ice (upper back and SI), and sacro wedges (to very very gently let my SI joint reposition itself correctly; worked like a charm!). even started dreaming in the chiro office, something about levitating or something, freaky! today though will go for another walk on campus, since i missed a walk yesterday!

Ouchie ouchie ouchie! mad When does one get the "wiser" part of "older and wiser"? Never, I repeat NEVER attempt to do COMBAT SIDE STROKE! As if a 50 yr old woman has any business AT ALL thinking this could possibly be a good idea... just because the 22 yr old Coast Guard rescue swimmer in the next lane can do it. Geez. no Sometimes I amaze myself with my own stupidity.... Even though I immediately took a muscle relaxer, my right sacrum, groin, hip, and tailbone have that burning nerve feeling and my heels freaking HURT to walk on. I'm taking my grumpy irritated self to bed. frown

Whew! Now that I've got that off my chest ~

today:

Swimming - 1,250 yds / 45 minutes

Oh yes, and Go TEAM! clap

yes, slow and easy! just cause you can do flip turns......well, anyway, want the swimming to make you stronger and stronger, not put you out of commission!

no, no drooling thankfully! but i've been known to talk in my sleep! hope that doesn't happen.

tonight, never did go take my walk, long night at work, but did pace the halls for awhile while eating, but no idea how long or how far.

and then i did a bunch of stretching....yay for backpacking pads and an office that's big enough to lay down in!

another very interesting thing. my whole body was getting to its breaking point, then remembered it was past time to change the flector patch on my SI joint. after i did that, not only did my SI joint feel better, but i felt better overall. wonder if there is anything to that? remember joanne asking if others' symptoms originated from the SI and i didn't really think so. anyway, feeling ok now, just need to go to bed. goodnight!
