If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Go Erica! Here's a surprise development: Last summer, I developed a problem with my left underarm, I think I posted about it, because I went to a dermatologist for it, it was getting all red and was hurting. They did a biopsy on it. Didn't discover anything specific about it, but the doctor gave me a cream treatment to put on it twice a day, said it would take months to go away, which it did, pretty much gone by Christmas, and I thought he must have been clever to have predicted that. Well yesterday, I noticed that it was coming back..felt it in the same place during swimming. and looked at it in the mirror afterwards, yup starting to get red again! But guess what I think it is: remember how we have a very small pool, and I spend about half the time turning around? And then I rocket-propel myself from the end of the pool with my feet, that's why I have such fast swimming times? Well, I always turn in the same direction, to my left, and lead with the left arm.. So I actually think that "rash" under my arm is likely caused by the water rushing against it! And since I only can swim in the summer months, explains why it got better by Christmas! : So no swimming for me today, until I figure out a way around this... Thursday: 107 laps, 38 minutes Friday: 110 laps 38 minutes Saturday: 150 laps 42 minutes (Billy Idol's "White Wedding" came on right as I was ready to stop)

Hahaha!! Well, good job sleuthing out the answer. I used to put plain Vaseline on my kids eczema spots before they got in the pool and it worked like a charm. It works for snow/cold rash as well. Go TEAM!

or maybe when you take that power stroke, maybe your arm and body rub against one another? if not vaseline, eucerin also a good thing to try, or did i already suggest that before, not sure? but eucerin is the only thing that heals up my trouble spots (for me that's scabby dry patches). above all else, i hope you find a way to keep on swimming! it seems to be so good for you from what i've heard you say over the last year or so.

love your "go team!" encouragement! today: walking: all told, 4 miles.not all at one time. walked 1/2 mile from car to local arts and crafts festival, walked around festival which came out to about a mile, walked 1/2 mile back to the car. and after dinner took a 2 mile walk. so tink can calculate time, i'll go with the typical 20 minute mile, thus: 80 minutes.it was a beautiful day here! after all that rain, blue skies and white puffy clouds very much appreciated!

yes, thanks Ms. 22, you did mention Eucerin cream before, I do remember that! I'm not sure exactly what is doing it, just now making the connection that it the likely culprit is the kick-off At one point I was trying to see if I could alternate turning left on one end of the pool, and right on the other, just to balance the muscle burden but it was too much mental work, and it would interfere with my breathing and timing of the swimming strokes I may have to keep working on that, though!

well, breathing is important! don't want you drowning or anything! maybe just not such a hard pushoff, i know that would lower your time down from speed of superhuman, but, well, i'm sure you'll figure it out! as they say half of solving a problem is determining what the problem is (yes, paraphrased very loosely )
