Today's run the plan was to run 5 miles down American Fork canyon. It was dark when we started running. 1/2 mile into the run I rolled my ankle and went down. I walked about a 1/10 of a mile then sucked it up and ran the rest of the way down the canyon. Totals 5.1 miles in 42:01 minutes with a bloody leg. I have road rash all over the bottom of my left leg. My ankle is a little sore.

Tinkerbell we need you!

oh no Steve! That makes my heart sad! frown1

You are a warrior for keeping running with a bloody leg!

Here's hoping you heal up fast! clap

my stats
**60 minutes of housework last night. The diet plus a little tylenol...ahhhhh it feels good to be able to do housework again. This flare, while not completely gone, is succumbing.**

Donette,
PLEASE,be careful talking about Steve's blood, a guy like him, it just may egg him on to more drastic things. He must be careful those CATS, LIVING IN THE MOUNTAINS, can smell real good.

Donette, I am glad to hear about your self control and feeling a bit better.

Walking every day 25 minutes or more.. I plan on going to the wreck center after the funeral..

2.5 miles in 40 mins - maybe last sunny day for a week so I guess I'll be walking in the rain.

steve: running with a bloody leg! now that's dedication! 1cup

erica: while the implant hurt as much as the extract, due to the tight space and thus lots of pressure until things moved around in there over the weekend and adjusted, must admit that the pain is much shorter lived. by sunday the pressure pain was nearly gone. the stitches fell out last night. and it is healing a lot faster than when they extracted all that bone and had to do the bone graft. still needs 4 months to heal before it is exposed and capped, but its already feeling so so much better. lots of pain for a few days, but very fast healing. smile

interestingly, my SI joint became more inflamed on saturday. and that became more painful than the dental work. and so haven't been able to take a walk for the last few days. but the chiro did some electrostim and soft tissue work to ease the muscle spasms, and feeling much better today.

tink: hope you are doing ok if you are reading this. heart

PS and had forgotten to add this earlier, even if stats are not being kept right now.....the mere existence of this thread gets me out there even on days that i don't feel so motivated to do it on my own, so thank you all for that hugss
..........off for a short walk before it gets dark...........

That is just crazy cool! You people rock my socks! cheerleader

I'm a bit tired tonight, but it's a good tired smile

I swam 1,100 yds and then walked all around Main St for an hour, handing out flyers for an upcoming diaper drive for needy babies.

Good job keeping at it this week. cheerleader Extra points for diet adjustments, road rash, tooth implants, and all the other wild shenanigans y'all have been up to. cheerleader

Go TEAM! clap

Are you trying to scare me out of the mountains? I was running with two other guys, and I stayed in the middle so it could pick off the one in front or the one in back.
