If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Yes! This is totally fun! I should just tell you all right now that I am a horrible team captain. I always played 3rd base & left field! My vote for co-captains are Sue & Tinkerbell, because I am out to lunch and Dow seems to be floating around somewhere So, how should we do this? Add our time to the last person posted? Add up only our own times? And is there a way to change the team name to "FITNESS" team? Maybe more people would play that way? Hmmm.... That said: For me today & TOTAL ~ 1000 yds swimming 45 minutes

Hey Erica! Wait to see what Sue thinks also, but I think if we keep a running total as we go it might be easier... Perhaps we could mention what we've done eg swimming 20 lengths / 20 minutes and then add it on to the last relevant activity. Does that make sense?!! I have been swimming for hours today in my glorified "fish bowl"!!! lol I've literally been swimming round in circles, so have not infact achieved any lengths at all - just lots of rounds Am off to friends pool tomorrow though and will try and get a serious swim in. Usually I have my little one's with me, which makes swimming lengths very tricky for the obvious safety reasons. I generally swim on my back to the deep end, so I am facing the children and then breast stroke on the way back! Will pop my stats in tomorrow! Byeee for now! PS I bet Mig will tell you how to change the title of the post... It's a GREAT post by the way, Erica, totally loving it!

well, changed the title here, but maybe mig can change the heading of the start of the thread as well? since you started the thread erika, probably best coming from you. and my mistake in adding things up. yes, i agree that we should do it the way erika initially suggested (the way you tinkerbell are reiterating it). if we just keep our own tallies it feels too much like competition, but if we add it all together, feels much more like a team event! and already its been motivating me to go out each day that i can, so thanks again! so tinkerbell, if you want to add up the "yardage" and time for swimming and add it here, that would be great! i have no idea how to add dow's floating and your going around in circles anyway! then as you said, every time someone does something new, they list their distance and time and then the totals of everyone's distances/times together, as you've both suggested. sorry about my mistake and the ensuing confusion! i'll be at work today, maybe a walk through the air conditioned part of the building, though in our lab, the AC is all messed up, its now down to about 82 degrees, was hotter earlier.

Hellooo Erica... I found your note and have changed the title of your top post. Nice thread you have going here btw! Not sure I can play, um, unless swimming in a river last Sat and Sunday counts but I have no concept of what the distance was... from the 'dock-rock' to the falls and back, twice, x 2 days... ahhh but with flippers on! And half lounging on a swim noodle! And I mostly just floated back on the current ...does that count??? Maybe you could add it to Dow's floating time! lol I cannot swim in the river without flippers! Well, I can, but it's not nearly as fun and is a chance I might drown if a snapping turtle startles me. Sue I cannot believe you are walking and biking in this awful heat! Cripes. I am very cleverly hiding indoors in the cool AC. Go team!

hi mig!
i only walk or bike starting after the sun starts to set. last night i went out after 8:30 pm and started with a bike ride since it creates a little airflow, then walked after 9 pm. no way would i do it in the heat of day, i draw the shades and hide inside with the lights off! at least i'm not further east where they're experiencing triple digits! but a break at the end of the week!
ah the river swimming sounds lovely!
