Snowy was suggesting that both you and I are upstanding (after our surgeries-yay) so I was sort of implying how cruel she was to keep us standing when all we wanted was to sit...............errr........yes a bit hope;ess I thinkkkklol

Yes Jaco...........a friend of mine here (electric bass player) raves on endlessly about him and, (oddly at a gig this tuesday there was a poster of his other hero), Charles Mingus? ever heard of him?

The new bass player in the Jacques Loussier trio, wow is he good, but I am a fan of the wonderful Pierre Nicholas who supported the wonderful-ererer George Brassens..........how good are you? Mingus-esque?

Charles Mingus is my bass god. I love his aggressive play and spin on arrangements. Just reading a book on Buddy Collette, friends with C Mingus since the age of 10 in LA. It is really neat. I checked out your ideas on YouTube. Thanks for opening up my mind more. I am working a couple Mingus tunes in my sets.

I just had my 1 year check up. My bone structure looks the same as the 6 month xrays. Good fusing. I did discover that I broke one to the two rods in me. In the middle of the rod a gap you can see thru. Must of happen when I took that fall and fractured my femur.
Kind of cool the rod broke instead of my spine. It hasn't moved except for the break, It does not bother me. I go back in 3 months to monitor the rod. I think they will let me keep the instrumentation. It's primary purpose is the first three months of fusing. I report them the operation has transformed me. I am happy I choose this path.

hi phannu.......odd about the rod.......I have a broken one as well.......however, I questioned my consultant last week about it, she said no not broken, but put in that way! odd!

Am glad you are glad you chose this route, me too, life looks better when you can actually see it, doesn't it.......yayay
