Hello Kevin - France responding... Sunny here and all is well, though cold with rather a cool wind: l'air du temps! Two chucks are settling down - Gert and Daisy. They are picky eatersa and don't eat much of what I give em. Hoping to see eggs in a week odd time. Gert lets me stroke here, without too much fuss, though Daisy is a tad nervous (she's a tad skinny as well.)

Their poop will be a good additive to the garden - poop clearing session tomorrow. Lubly-jubly.

Not much else over here. Will watch 6pm UK news - though expect it'll be all political, each side vying with t'other. All lies, dammned lies!

Quiet innit?

la Moll

Cleaned out chucks this evening - found first eggie. Yea! Clever chuckkie (whichever one it was...!)

Sorry I've been so quiet all week, folks. Really busy with work and then I've had my granddaughter staying with me since Thursday night. Took her to the fair today - she loved it - she's never been to a real carnival/fairground before.

Hi Kevin,
I have not had nearly as much time to be on here as I would have liked lately. We took off to Florida for a few days to catch up with my husbands family. It took quite a toll on the old back. And I am really glad to be home again.
We were expecting an exchange student from France on Friday, but alas she was held up by the ash cloud. But we anticipate her arrival as soon as they start flying again. Then I will be busy, busy, busy again!

Oklahoma checking in. We have been in a cool, rainy spell which does not help the old joints. The sun is shining now and supposed to warm up. That should help.

I hope you are all having a good week.

We are canceling our trip to FL because of the Lupus Photosensitivity. They will come here in FL for our BIG anniversary.

Hugs.

I'm here....
working my way out of a 24 day course of prednisone.
On the hunt for a dx and a treatment protocol all in one.
Rheumy had me on Celebrex 200 mg 2x daily ~ do a pain survey
Off Celebrex 2 weeks ~ do a pain survey and blood tests with no meds in system
Now prednisone 24 day course ~ I'll do pain survey again
Then Celebrex 200 mg 1x per day ~ pain survey
Then back to Rheumy to discuss.
He thinks I have both RA and structural damage issues causing my pain and isn't sure how best to treat.
Do love the relief from prednisone, but can't stay on it forever.
Here's hoping for some answers from this investigative process.
But, I am here...lurking around, poking my head in and commenting here and there.
Cheers to everyone,

Tracey

Hi Tracey,

I like how methodical your doc is being - doing the pain surveys and blood tests - helps to eliminate that feeling of not knowing what is working.

Definitely shy, Kevin - can't you tell? lol (darn it, I miss my smilies)

Sorry, been a bit hectic here. But....*drum roll* Ireland has been rain-free this week! We are experiencing glorious sunshine at the moment - whoo hoo!

Of course, that has confused us all, so normal service wont' be resumed for some time until we figure it out. (Again, darn it, I miss my smilies)
