It's so hard to know what to do when you hear something like that. I can imagine your shock when you saw her. I hope she gets a trailer mighty quick. It's been almost six months, for crying out loud!!

Warm hugs,

Kat

I know, I'm horrified...I scanned the paper and it tells the story about the FEMA fight and Shirley...I have to send it to photobucket to post it...okay this was two months after the storm...I wish I could minimize it so yall could read about the battle with FEMA and what they've been through, the next scan will be from yesterday when FEMA finally agreed to bring in temporary housing...I had no idea that they had continued to live in tents through the winter, because we haven't been back over there since the house demo....I have photos of the tent villages, it's horrible and officially, they've denied 400 applications for campers, so 400 families are out in the cold.....

Man, that's really something. It's inconceivable to me that something like this would happen in the big, modern West, you know? We're supposed to be so civilized. I guess I was wrong.

Warm hugs,

Kat

I know...and that was 2 months ago and they're still living in tents... I didn't want to post the lastest newspaper articles because as you can see, I'm not very good at it.... I got the pictures back of my house being demolished, they're not too pretty...I do have to go over there Monday, I'm going to check in on Lorraine, she has both AS and Lupus, like Possi, so I want to just kinda make sure that she has what she needs...

Hey Michelle...I'm doing good. We're having a little girl! Kind of shocked at first, really wanted another boy, but now I'm used to the idea of a girl and we bought her first outfit yesterday!! We haven't picked out a name yet...Ben's wasn't decided on until the end because his original name was ruined! Stupid people! But anyways, that's all going ok. Still have morning sickness 24/7...probably will have it the entire time just liek I did with Ben.
The new job is GREAT! I freaking love it! It's so much less stress than the other place. I still talk to a few people over there and the people who took over for me (2 of them to do what I did) are dieing! They are completely overwhelmed...so I'm like now you know how I felt..HA! But other than that, I'm great, so is Tim and Ben and the dogs! Just trucking along as usual.
How are you doing after your surgery?

I'm doing great...I'm working out daily and I'm starting to see results...I love that! And we're getting ready for Mardi Gras this week, we had a wreath party yesterday, we all made a Mardi Gras wreath to hang on our front doors...it was a blast, a whole lot more fun than just buying one!
