Dorrit,

I am so sorry to hear about George. I will so miss his humour and wisdom and how his love for you was always so obvious in the tales he told.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family

Dear Dorrit

What a sad,sad day. I feel blessed to have known George, he was a very special man who will be greatly missed.

From his many posts it was obvious you two had a wonderful relationship, I cannot begin to understand your feelings of pain and loss. Thank you for thinking of all his friends here and posting this news at such a difficult time.

My thoughts are with you and your family.

I did not "know" your husband, but I did want to extend my deepest sympathies.

Dear Dorritt,
I am so sorry. George was always so ready to help with answers for those of us that needed them. He was a very wise man and I know we will all miss him. When I came here about 2.5 years ago, I realized that he was part of the heart of KickAs, a place that has brought comfort to so many. God bless you and your family, Wanda

Oh, this one hurts. I've been away from KA for a few days now, and to come back to find this is just heartbreaking. George is one of the finest men to ever grace these forums, and his loss leaves an enormous void that will never totally be filled. To all our newer members who did not get to meet George, I am very sorry that you never will now. All veteran AS kickers know how big this loss is, and I am sure that every one of you feel the same hole in your heart that I do. I have wondered why George had not really been around anymore, and I was afraid that it was probably not due to any good reasons, but to come in and have those fears confirmed is just devastating.

Dorrit, I am so sorry for your loss. You know better than any of us what a great man George was. Many times he mentioned you in his posts, and every time, his love and affection for you was abundantly clear. All of us here would count ourselves lucky to share a love like the two of you had. Thank you for letting us know of George's passing, and my heart goes out to you during this time of loss.

I don't have any other words right now that could do justice to this great man . . . thank you George, for being one of KA's rocks for so long, and for showing those of us with severe AS that it was possible to age gracefully no matter what this disease did to us.

As I said, this one hurts.

Brad
