I picked the first three letters of my real first name because I am registered with SO many things online, I won't be able to keep track of all them if I had some weird, funky username for each one. Ya know, I used to go by " algae" for my initials, lj, and cause I'm a biologist, but I found it kinda creeped people out. Go figure. . So I went back to just plain ole Laurie, which means "winner", maybe a bit more positive than spineless slimy green stuff. Laurie
