In high school there were so many Steves that people called me by my last name "Orchard". It was shortened to Orch. I have found a lot of people with the last name Orchard go by Orch.

Hey Cristina,
It has been a while since we opened this can a worms. So here goes.

Mine isn't as off the wall as some might think. Its a part of my job. I work among the likes of Dakotadan, aka Pete, and iwood51, aka Ian and of course who could forget our cutest EMT Cristina ( the one from California).
Firefighters and Medics, one helluva family, a whole lot like KA.org

And ever since "Gore" Invented the internet,( OK that's a whole nother bunch a bees) I have gone by fyrfytr ( cause anyone can spell it the other way). The 187 is my badge number.

Keep KickinAS
Chris

I was so pumped to register when I first found this website that I couldn't be bothered to think of a special name. I go by Debbie but it was already registered so I registered Deborah. I wish I would have taken time to think of something more imaginitive but it is too late now.

Deborah (Debbie) Kind of wild and crazy like Ellyn1

Ahhh - a Cristina question, now I know all is well with the world :)

It just simple as can be: Laurence as a baby was shortened to Lozzy as a kid, which in turn was shortened to Loz as a teenager and that just stuck. I'm Loz to all family and friends, heck, I'm even Loz to my mother!

Only my business customers and suppliers - and a lady on this site by the name of Els - know me as Laurence.

  Loz

My sister once wrote a short story for school about Ninbot, an ugly, fat boy/robot with beady little eyes. Since my name is Nina, I've always suspected she had me in her mind while writing it. The name stuck, so I often use it for stuff that requires a user name.

Ya know, I'd thought of that! But think how boring my life would be!

Well if you put up with AS for over 30 years you either go nuts or learn to grin and bare it.... Some may think the former is probably more true in my case but I have learned to grin and bare it so that is what I took for a user name... Good to see a Christine question here... Now if we could get that BBJ and a few others back to posting would make my day...

Actually I choose the name Its behind me because thats where most of my pain came from. My back I mean. Now I like to think its because someday its where I'll put this disease.

Hi Fyrfytr,

I like your "United We Stand" graphic image. Glad you're feeling well.
