I chose my username because of my iritis. It affects both eyes, the left more often than the right. When I put in my drops I can't see straight. So my name is Kancie Straight. smile

Iritis first diagnosed in 1991, presently recurrent and steroid resistant.
Tested HLA B27 positive in 1996.
AS diagnosed October of 2011.

Putting most of my eggs in the NSD and exercise basket, using only TENS, massage, heat and ice, and NSAIDS (sparingly) for pain. Drops for iritis as flare necessitates. Looking back I feel I would have been diagnosed with AS years ago, if I had found a rheumy earlier than 2011.

Hello,
My name is Ron, and I am addicted to kicking AS......
My first sign up name was " my little demon " but that was taken, made me think of the person who has it on here, made me feel sad actually that someone feels that way.
Nobody wants to be Elmer Fudd, old fart with a shotgun chasing a poor little bunny wabiit around for 48 years.
So thats how I became " The Fudd "
Dont laugh, this could happen to you someday!

I love your moniker Elmer! I think it is fun. I got Pea from my name being Pamela which starts with a P, henceforth Pea. I am in bed a lot due to A.S. so it is my pod!

Mine: MollyC1i. My own first name so sooooo *V long, nobody can pronounce nor spell it, are continually wrapping round left ears, so, shortened it to my mother's nick name, Molly for Margaret, which is my second name). C = surname, 1i = one eye, as one eye is not very good due to the glaucoma...so, MollyC1i.

What a fun thread - which I have only just picked up...

Mine is an old gamertag. (I love online games)

gilth is derived from Gilthoniel,
wich is from "a Elbereth Gilthoniel"
from an elven verse in the Lord of The Rings by Tolkien.
Yep, I love fantasy books.

That's cool Gilth! I refrained from using my game nick thinking it might not be taken seriously, but yours works quite well... what online games do you play?
