If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Dear All, I have been on NSD for a few months and recently eliminate Dairy as well. I have been reading up on Paleo diet and it points out that legume as well as grains are giving rise to inflammation as well. Have anyone eliminate Legume as well and what is the effect? ( That means even less edible options) "Most vegans and vegetarians rely upon legumes (beans, soy, lentils, peas, etc.) and whole grains to meet the majority of their daily caloric intake. Legumes and whole grains contain some of the highest concentrations of antinutrients in any foods. These compounds frequently increase intestinal permeability and cause a condition known as “leaky gut,” a necessary first step in almost all autoimmune diseases. Further, a leaky gut likely underlies chronic, low-grade inflammation, which underlies not only autoimmune diseases, but also heart disease and cancer" http://thepaleodiet.com/what-to-eat-on-the-paleo-diet/

what are the legumes you are talking about? cause those on that list contains starch anyway.
let's not be too orthodox with food. this diet means less starch possible, is't not a meat only diet.
anyway, if you consider that some legumes might harm you, keep a daily food&health journal. after a couple of weeks you'll figure yourself that if ingesting some legumes harms you or not.

I cannot eat beans, peas or lentils... they cause me pain if that is the question you are asking.
Corn is another veggie I cannot tolerate.

Speaking for myself - I eat long green beans as they have only a very tiny amount of starch (1% or less I think).
I also eat tofu (the traditional preparation of this removes all starch!). Mammal meat & sugar seem to be upsetting my prostate somehow but tofu has been reliably fine. Not 100% sure how right now but it could be as simple as renal pH. Or it could be a more complex interplay in which an alkaline renal load facilitates better removal of acidic metabolic wastes. Whatever, it just works for me.
Lots of negative stuff online about soy beans, tofu and fructose but sometimes I wonder how much of this stuff is originally sparked by someone with a financial interest (e.g. sugar cane industry, dairy industry), followed by everyone else parroting their spurious info. And I wonder that because when I eat tofu I feel better and have less prostate issues than when I eat meat. Far from it spoiling my manliness as some have suggested, rather by having a healthier prostate it has improved things in the bedroom. Likewise when I use fructose in my cooking I feel so much better than when I eat sugar - and sugar does so much damage to me when it is processed and had in excess.
OK I've blabbed on enough.. what Alinus said is the ultimate answer. Listen to your body. How does it make you feel?.. as that is the ultimate decider of whether a food is healthy for you.
what I can eat on the diet (click here) -- my blog -- contact me (PM is broken) "Some men, in truth, live that they may eat, as the irrational creatures, 'whose life is their belly, and nothing else.' But the Instructor enjoins us to eat that we may live." -- Clement of Alexandria (about 200 AD)
