If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Hi, I was wondering if anyone has any good resources on eating well on 20-50 dollars/ week, following the NSD of course...

I can't outline an entire plan for you or anything, but eggs are a relatively cost effective NSD-safe food (provided you have no allergies or sensitivities to eggs). They are nutritious, versatile, and delicious.
Kind Regards, Jay

There was a thread about this a while ago, perhaps a search would give you some helpful advice. What I can suggest is, check out the bargain grocery outlets, if any are in your community. Find out about resources in your community regarding food banks. Churches can be a good source for help, too. Making soups is a great way to save money. Eggs are inexpensive. Here's a link to a discussion about doing the paleo diet on a budget, and I think the paleo diet shares quite a bit in common with NSD, so perhaps the link will be useful to you: http://board.crossfit.com/showthread.php?t=10371

Hi.
My cost went through the roof. However, they are settling down.
1. Go to a wholesaler and buy frozen berries, fish and spinach in bulk. The fish I am buying is excellent and is obviously frozen immediately. Berries are half the cost compared to the cheapest supermarket. Frozen spinach is a great way to fill up. I eat between 750 to 900g per day. I buy it 10kg at a time. It lasts about 12 to 14 days.
2. Do you live near an Aldi? This again reduced my costs.
Its hard I know but if your staple is eggs, spinach and fish plus coconut slices you can eat for about $70-80 per week. Maybe this sounds a lot but if you are investing in your health...
Good luck.

many supermarkets (in Australia anyhow) have a habit of clearing meat out on Sundays with heavy discounts (anywhere from -25% to -75%) to make way for the newstock arriving on Mondays. eg last weekend i got a 2.6kg chicken from coles for $4.75 (75% discount).

No its finely chopped and raw. Its not bad as a healthy, cheap filler with every meal.
