If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Hi everyone Just wanting to know if anyone has been told they will need a wrist fusion. I have Slac wrist on the right side and my left wrist tendon has just begun to swell and be painful. My right thumb needs an op too at the bottom of the thumb and also at wrist. I'm not working at the moment and I hate wearing splints! I was originally diagnosed as having a spondyolaroparthy excuse sp. Thanks and best wishes to you Deb

Deb, I have suffered on & off with right wrist issues. Below my little finger, a bone there towards the outside of my upper wrist/hand can be very painful at times. Helps if I could rest it, although resting a wrist is next to impossible lol. At times I use a flexi wrist support, not a splint. Have you tried a wrist support? Seems to be easier to live with than a splint. Still gives you movement with some support. Mine seems to improve, then something simple like turning a door knob sets it off again. That lovely weather you have with no clouds in the sky, surely must help your A.S? I visited Oz a number of years ago. Really enjoyed it.

Yes I agree very much about nice weather improving our A.S. be it just psychological or not. In my part of the world (North Wales) we don't get such nice weather all that often. With us is is more likely to be rain than sunshine so perhaps I appreciate the sunshine even more.
Sorry about your wrist and also sorry I can't suggest a way to improve things. It is something I have thankfully never had to put up with. So strange how this damn A.S. differs from one sufferer to the another.
