I think the man had a lot of success with his RA, by changing his diet.
Avoid sugar , grains, dairy and processed junk. If a food hurts you do not eat it! (Mercola , how to put RA into remission)
Greens- eat your veggies , hardly anyone flares from eating greens.
Keep fructose under 20-30 grams a day.
Try to eat 9 cups of veggies a day (Wahl protocol) (non starchy)

I also felt much better when I was exercising 1-3 hours a day!
So get back to your old routine running, walking, cycling, swimming, anything to keep your joints free and working. You know it makes sense.
